Nestled on the picturesque corner of Jesus Green, Cambridge Punting Co. boasts a location that is as convenient as it is beautiful. Our punting station, ideally situated adjacent to the renowned La Mimosa restaurant, serves as the perfect starting point for your exploration of Cambridge’s historic waterways. Whether you’re walking, cycling, or using public transport, reaching us is hassle-free, making your journey to us as relaxing as the punting experience itself. Surrounded by the city’s rich history and natural beauty, our location not only provides a convenient starting point for your tour but also immerses you in the essence of Cambridge’s charm right from the moment you arrive.

Car Parking Options for Effortless Access

Visiting us by car? The most convenient option is to use one of Cambridge’s five Park and Ride sites encircling the city. The ideal site for you depends on your starting point. Buses from these sites head to Drummer Street, and from there, it’s a brief 10-minute walk to our punt station. Notably, the bus from Madingley Park and Ride stops on Bridge Street, just a 5-minute stroll from us. For detailed information about all Park and Ride locations, visit the Park and Ride – Cambridge website (https://cambridgeparkandride.info/). If you prefer parking in the city centre, several multi-storey car parks are available. For more details on Council Car Parks, click the provided link (https://www.cambridge.gov.uk/parking). You can also find 2-hour Pay and Display parking on Pound Hill and Chesterton Lane, free of charge after 5 pm. However, please be aware that traffic in Cambridge city centre can be heavy, particularly on weekends, so allow extra time to ensure a timely arrival.
